15 To Cairns (Mon. Feb. 16) - More Photos
This is a picture from our hotel room of the Cairns area. Notice the mountains in the background and the Naval ships in port on the other side of the trees.
We took a number of pictures while at the Wild Animal Park. Birds, lizards, frogs and more.
They even has Bats in the wildlife dome. (I should point out that there were a number of trees around town that had many of these bats in them. They are quite large. This one is about a foot long.)
During our walk we passed the public pool. This is a more full picture of the pool area where the sculpture is as seen in the photo from the main posting, you can see this it in the background. 
We even saw some wild(er) animals. This bird (do not remember the name), according to the bus driver, is a pretty rare sight. Ha! We got a picture of it.
